9 Questions to Get to Know Your New Adventure Club Teammates

With the influx of new Adventure Club players, you may be getting more requests to join your Club from people you do not know yet. Since these new players are not on Facebook, you cannot view their Facebook pages to get to know them. This is safer overall because you do not have to add them to your Facebook page to play with them, and your only interactions will be in the game. To learn who the new applicants are, you can invite them into your Club to chat with them. We’ve created a few sample questions that may help break the ice with the new kids on the block.

Where do you live?

We have players around the world, so it’s wonderful to meet new friends from all corners of the globe. Plus, you never know when you might be looking for a new vacation spot and can meet up in real life!

When is your birthday?

It’s just always nice to get birthday greetings!

What is your favorite decoration?

Some players love decorating their islands, and some prefer the Hidden Object Scenes. Find out more about their preferences to see if they will be a good fit.

What do you do for a living?

Are you in school or retired? Dedicated players may be able to work and still help out with Quests, but knowing what their schedule is like can help you set expectations and avoid conflict later.

Are you a morning or a night person?

Depending on where they are in the world, you can find out if you two will be playing at the same time and can chat together.

Do you speak more than one language?

We’d love to be able to offer translations in our chat feature, but technology has not caught up with our global community yet. Playing with people who speak other languages is a great way to learn some new phrases though!

What is your biggest pet peeve when playing games with other people?

For instance, some players want to chat all day long, while others are there to earn points and win only.

What do you value most in a teammate?

Looking for other players who pull their weight in the Quests? Or maybe someone who won’t stress out if you don’t get every reward?

If you could travel anywhere in the world like Pearl, where would you go?

We all love Pearl because she inspires us toward adventure! Get to know your teammates better by hearing what they dream of doing.

Hello – I am in a club that has 5 active players, the rest are non-players, including the leader, so there’s nothing we can do. We 5 want to start a new club but one of our players is not on FB. She does have a Passport. Is there any way we can find her to invite her without her being on FB?

      Tania,
You can start your new Adventure Club but for your non-FB connected player, it may not show on her list. An option would ask her to FB friend at least two of you prior.
Start your Club, invite her to the new Club. Once in the Adventure Club, she can unfriend if she chooses to. Friending would only friends her Artemis Island would not be connected.
Enjoy your day and Happy Pearling!

I am the administrator of an adventure club. I can’t request coins or energy from any of them since we use the new format. I am the only person on my gold world icon which means I can’t get in touch with any of my members. What should I do to be able to communicate with them?

      Hello Andee,
Adventure Club members have access to the Chat Tab, to be used for communication. When they enter the Adventure Club there are 5 Tabs (left to right) 1. Community 2. Members Team 3. Challenge/Task 4. CHAT 5. ENERGY BOARD Many Adventure Clubs set up a Group Chat in FB Messenger, naming the chat your Club Name, then invite your team to join.
Andee, Pearl’s Peril has a FAQ section. I would like to suggest that the team view the information on Adventure Clubs. It explains in detail the Energy Board which allows your members who are NOT FB connected to share energy with the team, and for those members who ARE FB connected to collect extra energy. This information is located at https://wooga.helpshift.com/a/pearl-s-peril/?l=en&p=web&s=adventure-clubs

I play in a group with 11 members out of 15. Only 2 of us have been playing for ages (and have made passports) and so we never even get to the 1st reward in the weekly quests. I have recently finished the game for the 2nd time and now I’m “tidying up” by mastering all the unfinished scenes. I will keep on playing and adding to or changing my island. Just waiting for “Iris’s eyes” to rejuvenate in a day or 2.

I’m starting my own club for the first time. I sent out invites to my Facebook friends but many are already in clubs and have declined. My problem is how do I get others to join my club.

      Hello Cathy,
Congratulations! Here are a few suggestions. We have a group called Pearl’s Peril Social, if you are not already a member then please consider joining and create a thread about your Adventure Club (to include the name, to contact you, what your requirements are). Next, in our FAQ of Adventure Clubs, there are some tips. Here are the links:

I don’t vet with most of these questions. I talk about past experience. How many points they average. How fast or slow do they want to play. If no experience at all, I’m willing to teach.
I prefer all my Members be fb friends. How are Non-fb players going to finish 500 million CC tasks for example? (less they but tickets) Or enough energy to complete 100 scenes? (less they buy it)
Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s great these players are now able to join A/C’s. I much prefer to vet. I will not be adding anyone Non Facebook to my A/C. You’ve increased challenge tasks takes to outrageous amounts to begin with!!

i agree just let our non fb player go we already finished the challenges she added 7 points and did not seem interested in team nor would reply to requests now tell people who want to join us to prove they are fb players and contact team leader with request

I fully agree. Non FB members are difficult to vet – I don’t want to allow membership in the awesome team that has formed for any trolls or award parasites!
Communication with the members also becomes more difficult and it is not possible to communicate privately.
If a member “disappears” or stops getting points I want to touch base without involving the entire group. It is a matter of integrity!

I play with a French speaking group but do not speak French myself. I read it well enough to get the gist of most comments but often use an online translator for reading longer conversations and always to make my own. I wish I could copy/paste. It would be so much easier!

I love PP. I love and respect all of my players. We are like a family. We talk about the weather, grandchildren, if someone is having a bad day or good day. We have each other’s back. They are bring something to the table. It’s hard to tell you my favorite player because I have about 6 people who score 100 💯 points or more. The others always make over 50. I have the best team. I like the new feature (passport). It doesn’t bother me that non Facebook users can get into a Club. We all know where each person lives. We really know each other like a family. Maybe more.

I understand players, especially low level players not getting many points to help, but if a player gets no points time after time (or 2 points) I ask in chat if there is anything we can do to help. If I don’t receive a reply in a few days they get booted. I figure they’re in there for free tokens we earn and the weekly prize.

Great questions! I am excited to introduce Pearl to a dear, old friend who has a Facebook phobia. I am hoping she will love the game & I won’t have trouble finding her to send an invitation when she gets to chapter 5. XXXOOO

      Hello Linda,
How exciting for you. As you know, understand the Adventure Clubs and the excitement it adds to the game and your playing friends. This link will help your friend:
The first time you enter Adventure Clubs, you will be asked to create a passport. The Pearl’s Peril Passport will be your identity in the game mainly while playing Adventure Clubs. Passports require you to choose an avatar and a nickname. A thorough guide on passports can be found here: https://www.pearlsperil.com/all-about-your-new-pearls-peril-passport/

I prefer to vet through FB & get to know a person prior to accepting them into my club….I like to know before hand that they will fit in with the team…Therefore I will not be accepting any none FB player…it is better not to accept someone than to evict them maybe within a matter of days.

I much prefer to know about a person prior to having he or she in my club therefore I will not be accepting any non Facebook player into my club. I also like to vet all my friends and make sure they are a good fit for the team.

Good questions our small team is very interactive with one another. We are also very fast players who speed up the 3 and 10 challenges.

Great questions. It is more fun to play with people you can get to know. The team actually becomes a team and not a bunch of individual players. They pull together and cover for each other and make the overall experience so much better.
